I am a Maestra (teacher) and a Native Holistic Health, Lifestyle, Wellness and Embodiment Coach. I am the founder of The Native Shiftwhich is an online community where I teach ancient teachings that have been handed down through our oral traditions for thousands of years and combined them with modern day wellness for a holistic approach to shifting and creating a happier and healthier life. I am the former owner of the award winning outdoor fitness boot camp, Tri Valley Adventure Boot Camp in the East Bay Area of the SF Bay Area where I coached women for over 15 years as a Fitness Nutrition Coach.
In 2019 I went on a sabatical to find a way to offer my clients a more holistic approach to living a healthy lifestyle. I put together a coaching container that now combines my ancestors holistic practices with my experience in health and wellness. I started my sabatical by learning from my Maestrxs the human potentials of the sacred calendar that some know as the Aztec calendar. It teaches how we can use these practices, the teachings of the four directions and wellness to reach our highest potential. I am a part of the Kalpulli Teocalli Ollin (Community Sacred House of Energy) group of Curanderxs. Which is the direct legacy of Maestra CC & Casimira Rocha y Sanchez and her ancestors from the Tezkatlipoka Tradition of the Red Path and Eagle Clan. We are a group of various healers practicing Curanderismo, Native Traditional Healing, Earth-Based Rituals/Ceremonies, and offering personalized wellness services through traditional methods within our communities and across our ancestral lands. Our intention as members is to share sacred ancestral wellness practices that are designed to deepen our individual self-work, growth, transformation, and heart with the guidance of Luz (Light), Paz (Peace), Amor (Love), Conciencia (Awareness), y Armonia (Harmony). I also found an amazing community of ancestral wellness practitioners of Curanderismo and was intiated as a Maestra and member of the Kapulli Teocalli Ollin from the land of the Tewa Pueblo native people where my grandfather was from, that most know as New Mexico.
I am a Ceremonialist, as an Ordained Minister through the First Nations Church and believe that living our lives as a Sacred Ceremony in all we do brings joy and peace to our lives. I refer to myself as the "Awoken Curandera"asin our tradition we never claim to be a Curandera or Healer we are merely a guide, hollow bone, a facilitator of those seeking guidance. I am a forever student of life and offer my community guidance and support through the seasons of life. We base our practice on the cycles of life, seasons of nature, the medicine wheel, universal cycles, ancestral science, health and wellness.
Through my life experiences, training, education and the teachings from my elders I have evolved my practice.I have been a entrepreneur all my adult life and started my practice as a "Sobadora" (Acupressure & Shiatsu Practitioner)in the early 90s. I started training women in 2005 in health, fitness and nutrition through my award winning outdoor fitness bootcamp for women. I have practiced healthy living, empowerment, self-development, indigenous living, fitness, goal setting, dream planting, manifesting, sacred meditation, and the ancient practices from my lineages for most of my life.
By using some of these ancestral ways along with modern day health, wellness and fitness we can empower and train ourselves consciously and subconsciously to help manifest our dreams, live a healthier life, attain our goals, level up our intentions and intuition, empower our business, while strengthening our bodies to help us create a life we dream of.
My Experience & Education I have over 25 years experience in fitness nutrition, health coach and ceremonialist. I started my practice in the late 90's providing first Sobadas with Platicas (therapeutic body therapy & cleansings) to the community. What matters most to me though is if I inspire you, will you fit into our community, are you ready to SHIFT and if there is a connection between us :)
