I Am A proud Latina-Native Guide & Intuitive Health Coach, Reiki & Energy Practitioner, Fitness Nutrition Coach, entrepreneur, teacher, mother and grandmother.
I started my practice as a "Sobadora" (therapeutic massage therapist)in the early 90s and became a fitness nutrition coach for women in 2005. I started the very first women's outdoor fitness boot camp in the Tri Valley area of the East Bay Area in California and after 15 years decided to take my business online to help more women. Over the years I have evolved as a wellness practitioner and now have combined my health coaching with my native cultures teachings and practices.
I have been what some call a Curandera (a traditional holistic practitioner) for over 20 years and I specialize in fitness, nutrition, and body therapy a "Sobadora" (therapeutic massage therapist, shiatsu and energy practitioner). I am also a Medicine Carrier and teacher of my Toltec Mexikah ancestors sacred healing, manifesting and empowering practicesthat have been passed down for thousand of years through our oral traditions.
I love sharing and teaching. My practice addresses wellness as a whole in mind, body, spirit, health and wellness. I teach active intuitive women all this in my online community and academy The Native Shift. Creating a holistic approach to living a healthy happy lifestyle.
Things I Love The outdoors, kayaking, hiking, indigenous wellness, nature wellness, music, dancing, teaching/coaching, spending time with my family and friends, my cultures, pow wows, meditation, yoga, holistic healing and rituals. Energy and body work, a great yummy healthy meal and foraging for natural plants/herbs for cooking. When I'm not being a workaholic I am outdoors enjoying the many amazing places around the San Francisco Bay Area and our country. I LOVE any body of water, the forest for earthing and forest bathing and my FAVORITE place anywhere there is a beach.
My Beliefs Finding "BALANCE" is not the goal of our existence but finding "HARMONY" within all of our different areas of life and living mindfully with intent and purpose is the key.
In native traditions we practice everything with an intent, purpose and with gratitude. We give thanks and try to make daily habits that include sacred space and self care. One of the main practices we use for guidance is the Medicine Wheel and the cycles of the moon. We use the four directions and elements of nature because we believe that they are directly related to our existence. In the traditions if you are not honoring Mother Earth, the elements and our own individual "Sacred Garden" (mind, body, spirit) then you are not living your true self.
In the process of being our own healer and that of the collective we use the elements to empower us. Mother Earth (Grounding), Air (Breathing), Fire(Energy), Wind and Water (Cleanse). Water and Fire in our traditions are the most essential of the four. For life and vitality. Water brings the flow of life all together. It is a conduit for our life energy and the most important element. Without it we cannot exist. The Sun/Fire (Energy) recharges us and gives us the strength to embrace daily life.
My Services I have combined my fitness, health and wellness coaching with my two native cultures to provide a practice that encompasses the Mind, Body, Spirit and Health of each client a more wholeness approach to healthy living. I help people become their own healer shifting your mindset, transforming your body, deepening your spirituality. I help you create a healthy happy lifestyle with implementing changes for you and your family.
